- Strengthening the Sectoral Structure: HESİAD is an association where all sector stakeholders are members. This strengthens the sectoral structure and increases the installed capacity represented. It also plays an important role in creating a strong public opinion for new projects to be developed and in voicing sectoral problems.
- Lobbying Activities: HESİAD conducts lobbying activities to protect and develop the interests of the sector. Within the scope of these activities, communication is established with public institutions and lawmakers to improve regulations related to the sector.
- Sharing Information and Experience: HESİAD provides its members with information on current developments, legal regulations, and technical information related to the sector. In addition, members can network with other stakeholders in the sector and share their experiences.
- Contributing to Sectoral Development: HESİAD conducts sectoral research and projects. Within the scope of these studies, data related to the sector is collected and analyzed. The information obtained is used in the creation of sectoral development plans and the development of policies for the sector.

Membership Criteria
- Private sector organizations that invest in, operate, or are engaged in activities related to the generation of electricity from hydraulic resources, the transmission of the generated electricity, the operation of hydroelectric power plants, and the hydroelectric industry.
- Individuals or legal entities authorized by the management of the organization to represent the organization and become a member of HESİAD.
Membership Application Process
1.Preparation of a Petition:
A petition addressed to the president of our association, written on the company's letterhead and signed and stamped by a company authorized representative, must be prepared.
2.Submission of Personal Documents:
In addition to the petition, personal documents requested by our association must be sent to us.
3.Evaluation of the Application:
Your petition and documents will be evaluated by our Board of Directors.
4.Membership Approval:
If your application is accepted, you will be notified of your membership approval.
