The Extraordinary General Assembly of the Association of Hydroelectric Power Plant Industry Entrepreneurs (HES\u0130AD) was held on February 14, 2024, in Ankara.<\/p>\n
During the General Assembly, Fahrettin Arman, who previously served as president and contributed significantly to HES\u0130AD for many years, was awarded the title of \u201cHonorary President.\u201d It was also decided to change the name of the association to \"Association of Hydroelectric Industry Entrepreneurs.\"<\/p>\n
To create a more inclusive management board, the total number of full and alternate board members was increased to 14, with 7 members assigned as full and 7 as alternate board members. New audit committee members were also appointed during the meeting.<\/p>\n
To increase female representation in HES\u0130AD's management, there are a total of four female members among the full and alternate board members, including the association president, Elvan Tu\u011fsuz G\u00fcven.<\/p>\n
The General Assembly established five working groups to encourage HES\u0130AD members to take a more active role. Accordingly, within HES\u0130AD, the following working groups have been formed:<\/p>\n

Operational Challenges<\/p>\n
Basin Management<\/p>\n
New Investments and Pumped Storage Plants<\/p>\n
Communication and Member Acquisition<\/p>\n
These working groups will implement activities aimed at solving industry problems and meeting expectations.<\/p>\n
